Damir is President of INETA Europe (International .NET Association) and member of INETA Worldwide Executive Council. He speaks worldwide on behalf of International INETA Speakers Bureau. He was member of the Board of Directors at IASA (International Association of Software Architects) and Director of IASA Europe for the past five years. He is a Chief Editor of the German architecture portal "Architects Connection" at Microsoft and he works closely with Microsoft Architecture Strategy Team (AST) in Redmond. Microsoft awarded Damir several times as a Most Valuable Professional for Solutions Architecture.

Damir is Microsoft Regional Director for Germany and member of RD advisory council. Regional Directors are independent 3rd party advocates of Microsoft technologies whose mission it is to inform, educate and provide a vital link between Microsoft and the developer community. Damir was elected as a "Top 10 of all Microsoft Regional Directors worldwide".

Damir regularly consults and advises Microsoft at a corporate level. He is member on different advisory councils at Microsoft and he writes regularly for technical publications in Germany and Europe. He speaks regularly on international developer conferences and other worldwide events. Damir was awarded several times for the highest rated keynote presentations.
